Get Rreel Presented by Sunday's Child
What is it?
Irish girl band Get Rreel are breaking up. This is their chance to answer your questions. This is their chance to speak out.
What's it all about?
When Irish pop girl group Get Rreel decide to go their separate ways, they determine that it is only fair to have one last show. A show in which their fans can ask the questions they have been dying to ask, find out why the girls up breaking up at all and give everyone the closure they need, on the band's on terms.
The three women are a dance power house and as the questions unfold we are whisked back and forth in time to witness some of the groups finest (and worst) moments.
How did it make me feel?
The combination of these three women is everything a girl group is meant to be. Sassy, energized, strong willed and talented as hell. The choreography is flawless and powerful and Robyn Byrne and Elspeth McKeever have used dance as a weapon as their dance style drives the narrative forward and gives it the urgency and gusto that makes it so good. Eva O' Connor's writing is sharp and funny and their uncovering of the dark secrets that manifest in all of us, even the most successful, is poignant and astute. The current cast made up of Eva O' Connor, Rachel Ní Bhraonáin and Elspeth McKeever are a force to be reckoned with.
This show is a wonderful example of what happens when many great artistic elements come together to create something magical.
