Amy Toledano- Editor
Hi I am Amy, Editor and Content Creator of Within Her Words. I started this website because I absolutely adore story-telling, and wanted a way to support a diverse range of artists and their work.
Within Her Words is an advocate for new writing and works to elevate artists from varied backgrounds and socio-economic communities and is always looking for new voices and exciting work to celebrate!

Hi I’m Sophie Warren a Welsh actor and writer from North Wales living in London. I am an RWCMD Acting graduate and I’ve been writing plays since I started at drama school for scratch nights, shorts and competitions. I have taken two shows up to the fringe and assisted as a Producer for shows at Vault Festival. I’m actually writing this before a Groupon yoga class starts so will keep it brief ... namaste.
Hi! I’m Rita, a Portuguese actress and singer (who has also dabbled in science!).
I’ve always had a passion for writing - when I was a child I would write mini reviews on every book I read, and once I grew up there was a lot of fanfiction in my life. I love all performance art but Musical Theatre holds a very special place in my heart - as it was what brought me to London. I am currently very interested in anything that’s edgy, political and different.
Rebecca Marie completed her MA in Dramaturgy and Writing for Performance at Goldsmiths University in the summer of 2019 and has since decided to remain in London permanently. As a Los Angeles native, she’s constantly trying to navigate London weather, but the plethora of theatre and events in this city make it worth it. When she’s not plotting how she’s going to avoid the rain, she’s writing her own material (credits include SoHo Theatre and the Drayton Arms Theatre), playing escape rooms, and napping.

Natasha is a British American actress who has worked on both sides of the pond. While in America, Natasha used to write for the South Florida Cappies and now that she has relocated back to London, she is elated to join the team with Within Her Words! Natasha studied Musical Theatre at Emerson College in Boston where she obtained a BFA. While living in New York, Natasha worked in off-Broadway venues, National Tours, and various known concert halls. Upon returning to the UK, she has performed off-West End and now focuses on voice over work and commercials. Seeing theatre and expanding her community is a top priority for Natasha and that's what makes writing for Within Her Words so exciting.
Alexandra is an actor, writer and theatre-maker based in Somerset and London. Since graduating from Mountview, Alexandra has worked with numerous regional theatre companies across the South West and further afield in Windsor. She is an advocate for better arts accessibility in the 'provences', particularly in her home county of Somerset, and is keen to produce more regionally based work using local talent of a quality that can rival the work produced in London and the West End.
